Tulsi also known as, as "Holy Basil and the Queen of herbs" is one of the most sacred of all herbs found in India. Tulsi is a common plant found in Indian households and considered holy by many religions. Tulsi has been used in India for over 5000 years and is well known for its healing properties of the mind, body and spirit. Right from clearing up the skin to dissolving kidney stones, Tulsi is a tonic for the entire body.
Tulasi curna is made from organic tulsi (Ocimum sanctum). It carries the bitter, pungent and astringent tastes and generates a warming influence. It has a predominantly cough-reducing effect but can be used to pacify Vata and Pitta as well.

How to use
Boil 1 cup of filtered water and pour it over 1/3 of the teaspoon of tulsi powder. Cover the water in a pot or mug and let it steep for 20 minutes (or longer, if you want to maximize the Benefits). Then, strain out the leaves, add honey if desired, and enjoy.
