Organic Green Tea is one of the healthiest beverages in the world. It is a miracle drink that originated in China, and its production has spread to other parts of Asia.

All types of tea except herbal teas are brewed from the dried leaves of the Camellia sinensis bush. The kind of tea produced is determined by the level of oxidation the leaves have undergone during processing.

Organic Green tea is made from Camellia sinensis leaves that have undergone minimal oxidation during processing. It is not fermented at all, and it is steamed to stop oxidation before it starts, which helps to preserve most of the antioxidants and health benefitting polyphenols in the leaves.

For centuries, Green tea has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat a myriad of illnesses ranging from headaches to depression.

Dehas Green Tea is brought to you by the Deha Tea Estate, which is located in Assam and has 45 hectares of tea plantation converted to Organic and duly certified. This tea estate follows the system of VEDIC AGRICULTURE, which has been picked up from the Vedic script of "VRIKSHAYURVEDA", a system that is self- sustainable and uses materials from the Locality to replenish the soil with the use of Cow Dung and Cow Urine.
