Earth Loafs Smoked Salt & Almond Chocolate Bar is a blend of dark chocolate, smokey sea salt and almonds to create a tantalising after dinner experience.

This chocolate is Earth Loaf's classic 72% Raw Dark Chocolate Bar garnished with their North Indian Almonds and their signature smoked sea salt, which is slowly smoked over coconut charcoal and cacao husks.

It is made with 72% single origin raw and organic South Indian cacao and sweetened with delicious, mineral-rich South Indian Palmyra sugar (only 45 on the glycemic index).

Palmyra sugar comes from a type of Palm tree that produces a large fruit that resembles Mangosteen. The sap from the tree trunk is collected, boiled and set, before being ground into a fine powder. The sugar is highly mineralised and rates just 45 on the glycemic index.

The unique soil and atmospheric conditions in South India give the beans and chocolate their unique fruity and zesty flavour. This chocolate has been handcrafted at low temperatures to preserve all the nutritional wealth naturally found in cacao i.e. Iron, Magnesium, Anti-Oxidants, the bliss Chemical Anandamide and promotes Serotonin production in the body, all of which is usually damaged during roasting in traditional chocolate.
