Organic Bajra flour is made from small round organic grains of bajra, which is also known as pearl millet or black millet.

Bajra is one of the oldest foods that has been widely cultivated and consumed in rural parts of India. It is often known as a poor man's staple food because its high starch content makes it an important source of dietary energy and nutritional security for poor farmers. Once bajra is ready to be harvested, the plants are cut and dried. The grains are then separated from the plant, dried, and processed into flour.

Bajra has historically been a staple food in places like Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is now becoming popular in other urban parts of India because of its various health benefits.

Chappatis made from bajra flour taste delicious when eaten with gur (jaggery) in winters, which also keeps the body warm during cold months.
