Tea is one of the most popular beverages on the planet. Every country in the world consumes tea in one form or the other. Tea is made from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis and has been consumed for thousands of years across many cultures due to its health benefits.

Assam is the worlds single largest tea growing region in the world. The tea from this region has been called a cup of gold. The tea gardens in Assam are situated on either side of the river Brahmaputra.

Assam CTC tea is made from two leaves and a bud, which produce top quality liquor and is a favourite with tea drinkers whose preference lies in a good strong cup of tea. CTC  means Crush, Tear, and Curl, which is a method of processing the tea leaves. Instead, of the tea leaves being rolled at the final stage (like the longleaf), they are passed through a series of cylindrical rollers with hundreds of small sharp "teeth" that crush, tear, and curl them.

The organic Assam CTC tea has a strong brew and is preferred with milk.

Mana Organics Assam CTC Tea comes from the Tingamira estate in Assam, which follows sustainable organic cultivation practices. Tingamira is a privately owned Tea Estate located in the Doomdooma District of Assam that has produced premium tea since 1983. Mana has worked closely with the estate since 2010 to introduce sustainable solutions and convert their production to organic.
