Split black gram without skin is known as dhuli urad dal in India. It is made from whole Black gram whole, which is split, and its skin is removed. They are creamy white tiny, lens-shaped seeds with mild and earthy flavor. Upon cooking this lentil have a sticky texture and a bland flavour.
