Organic mustard oil is a vegetable oil extracted by cold compression of organic mustard seeds. It can be produced from black mustard, brown mustard, or white mustard.
Mustard oil, commonly known as Sarson ka tel in India, has medicinal uses and is also the preferred cooking oil in Bengal, Orissa, Assam, and Nepal. It is also used externally for massages.
Mustard oil is known as king of all oils in India and can be used to prepare a wide range of deep-fried foods, to cook dry vegetables, in marinades, as a pickling oil, and as tasty addition to mashed potatoes.
