The apricot fruit is native to Armenia and now widely cultivated in the Mediterranean and Central Asian regions. While Apricot oil has been used since ancient times in Traditional Chinese Medicine, to treat tumours and ulcers, today it can be found in health stores and pharmacies.

Organic apricot oil is extracted through the cold-pressed method, which does not alter the chemical compounds in the oil. Being light in nature with a very faint aroma, apricot oil is an excellent carrier oil, which means fragrant essential oils can be mixed in it and then applied to the skin.
