Whole wheat flour includes every part of the grain i.e. the bran, the germ, and the endosperm. It is high in fibre and provides an immense amount of energy as it is an excellent source of carbohydrates.

Traditionally 'wheat atta' was made by stone grinding, a process that imparts a characteristic aroma and taste to the flour. Wheat flour is used to make Indian bread like chapati, naan, and puri. It is also used for baking whole wheat bread, healthy crackers, whole wheat pasta, etc.
